Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

It isn't really summer until I eat at Ken's. The Chicken Cheesesteak (with sweet peppers, onion and mayo) is amazing every time. Fries and onion rings can so often be a "wild card" on a menu, with taste and/or texture lacking, but Ken's brings the goods here. The pizza is simply the best in the area, thanks to the seasoning. The real treat I've discovered this summer are the Old Bay flavored wings. On their own, they are delicious. Then I dipped one in buffalo sauce. Words became irrelevant soon after.

This is my favorite pizza. Anywhere. Love the mushroom pizza. The chicken cheesesteak is my other go-to. Definitely the best take out in Fenwick.

Came because of the reviews. Pretty dirty place. Waited at least 15 minutes for two slices. Pizza was greasy and bad! Wouldn't come back and don't recommend this place. I'm sure there are better pizza places in Fenwick. Stay away!!!!!

I can't think of a better word than plain old *boring*. These guys are right around the corner from our beach place so we were motivated to like them. But the couple times we tried, we got the same result- long wait for really boring pizza and subs. I've described other pizzas as "forgettable" usually because they're just generic- something you'd expect from a school cafeteria. That's the usual problem. This isn't like that. It looks almost brick oven gourmet, but it's virtually *tasteless*. I wish it tasted like it was from a box or like *something* at least. The first time we ordered it, I thought I was coming down with something and couldn't taste anything. The second time, I realized it was the pizza. It too had about as much flavor as the box it came in. I don't think they season anything. It's the first time I actually reached for a salt shaker over a pizza before. And to add insult to injury- *expensive*- probably higher than any of the other nearby sub/pizza shops. I get the sense from the look of the place, their prices and their ads that they think of themselves as an upscale-ish little pizza boutique. The staff was definitely on the snooty side. Sorry- you have to have great food for that. Then you can expect people to wait in a long line to overpay. I'll stick with Billy's- a block away for a decent pizza, in a fraction of the time and at half of the price.

I called Ken's on a Friday at 8 and waited an hour for a large pizza and fries. I was told about the hour wait when I called they said because the driver was backed up. I am fine with the wait. The problem was that the pizza and fries were cold to the touch. I don't understand why they cooked the pizza and fries immediately knowing they were on an hour back up for deliveries. In a word the pizza was disgusting. I've been sick from it for a day. I will never eat there again and will tell everyone I know to steer clear of Ken's Bayside. Gross

Ken's Bayside Pizza & Subs What can I say? I have eaten here 10 times. The meatball ball sub is what you would expect, mini mall effort, mini mall flavor. I make the mistake annually & will do it again next year. Seriously, the staff is as rude as all get out. I am pretty sure last time I went an Owner was working! The pizza is sub par, the hoagies are marginal. Mini Mall effort - Mini Mall Flavor. I happen to love Gravy Fries... Still looking for the perfect Gravy Fry, You can look; however, won't find it at Ken's.

this is my all time favorite pizza and sub shop at the MD/DE beaches first opened in 89, the first year my family's beach house was built, and have been going every summer since then firstly the subs, sooo much flavor happening here, the Jerk Chicken Sub has quite a bit of heat which is quite nice, but my fav is the Chicken Cheesesteak, so much cheese, as a good cheesesteak should be this is perhaps my favorite pizza i have had anywhere to date, that includes DC and NYC, the seasoning is key and makes it the most memorable, they in the last few years they also added premium toppings like crab and clams which put them even farther over the top

Oh how I look forward to the day I can visit Ken's bayside again for a cheesesteak. If you are on vacation and you do not stop here for some food, you are missing out. Stop reading reviews and order already, you can thank me later.

Terrible ingredients therefore, terrible pizza. The sauce was clearly out of the can and tasted like garbage. The place charges for drink refills and their pizza is definitely overpriced for its lackluster quality. Avoid.

Good service, tasty fries and cheesesteak. Small sub was enough for two, as was the fries. Great value.

Excellent! This place has been delicious for YEARS. And, they are fast, too. Great for a quick snack or meal after a long day on the beach.

I really want to give them 4-5 stars. But they keep making the same mistake. That mistake has to do with messing up my orders. Let me explain. My wife and I both get cheesesteaks. I hate onions with a passion. My wife loves them. Nearly every time I get my sub from them, mine has at least some onions in it . One time, I'll forgive. Twice maybe. But this has happened 4 out of the last 5 times for me. Because my wife likes their subs, I'll end up getting something else when I really want a cheesesteak. One of those 4 times, my sub was completely full of onions. I've grown tired of throwing subs away so I don't even bother with them. I'll grab a sandwich from somewhere else and get my wife a cheesesteak from Ken's. Here is the oddly funny thing. We got her a cheesesteak last night. They didn't put onions in her sub after I clearly asked for them and verified after they read the order back to me. So they have an obvious problem with getting orders correct. The problem isn't with taking the order as they'd always be read back to me correctly. They get 1 star as I've wasted so much money throwing away my subs which had onions. 4 subs out of my last 5 orders. That is a lot of money. You might ask, why don't I check them. I give them a quick look over, but grilled onions turn dark and look very much like the meat. This is just being lazy. Onions are grilled along with the meat. So they let the 2 piles (onion and no onion) of meat overlap.

Excellent pizza! And this is coming from a self-proclaimed pizza snob. Crust was chewy, toppings were generous and the beach fries were a meal in themselves. Thanks fellow yelpers for steering me to this place!

6/25/09 I absolutely love a large fresh cheese & pepperoni pizza from Ken's Pizza. Perfect crust & spices. Cheeses all melting magnificantly together=$11.99 Only drawback -waiting over an hour for a delivery

I really love Ken's. Everything there is delicious. The only reason I'm leaving "a-star-to-be-desired" is their delivery is just awful. My parents live right across the street and the handful of times we've ordered delivery it has taken at LEAST 45 minutes, usually over an hour. But we usually do carry-out and their food is awesome.

this place is amazing. hand rolled crust pizza, somewhat sweet sauce. subs are huge and fantastic. best place to eat at the beach. cant wait to go back. caution: delivery can take a while in the middle of summer due to traffic, not thier fault, they usually have 2 drivers. go in and eat

Along with Capriotti's Sandwich Shop in Bethany, Ken's is my favorite place to eat at the beach. I usually order a white pizza, which they make with onions. The taste is unbeatable--the perfect amount of cheese, a sure yet never-overpowering taste of onion, and soft, flavorful crust. They also have good mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and other fried goodies. I haven't had much of their subs, but I can say that their white pizza is worth the wait!
